But This is not mean that one person cannot make a game, only one person can make indie Games. and indie games are so popular now these days. but the question is what are Indie Games? and how can we make an indie game?

Independent Video games are called Indie games. and they are created by independent game developers. and they were popular in past. for the success of indie games, some game companies were arisen like, Nintendo, Sony, sega, and steam. 

These games are created by you or just with your friends. for example, if you have any idea of the game and you choose a game engine and work properly and after this work, you will succeed to make a game and you publish it on the play store so congrats! you will create an indie game.

indie games are self-published. these games don't need a publisher to publish on any platform. 

Publisher: and if you don't know about Publisher, I want to tell you that the publisher is those people who invest money in the game. for example, The Game "God of War" was created by Santa Monica Studio and was published by Sony, because sony invests money in This game. and Sony is the Publisher of the Game "God of War".

For this type of High Graphics, the game company needs a Publisher because the company invests money in these games. these games have a big budget and high Graphics. but only for AAA Games we need publishers. for indie games, we don't need publishers to publish our games.

Indie games are so popular because the goal of indie games is to "create a unique and new thing", in indie games we can see innovation. but AAA games follow Trends like, Now these days PUBG(Player Unknown Battlegrounds) and Fortnite are so popular games and these are battle-royale games so for this every game company adds battle royale mod in his every new game. 

We can say that companies just follow the trend they don't create any new thing. and they cannot create any new thing because they have the pressure of publishers they want double profit from games and for this creating new thing is always a risk.

in indie games, we always struggle to create unique and creative games. our focus is some particular audience. we can create any kind of game like you can create puzzle games, adventure games, Novel Games, walking Simulator and we can create some special games

And for Assets, we can use the Unity asset store. we can download Assets for free and some we can buy. if you want to create your own Game Assets you can use Photoshop for 2D Assets and also you can use Blender for 3D Assets. it means you can create a game without any big budget, you can create an indie game for free. for this most developers want to create indie games.
